Ana Lila Downs Sánchez is a Mexican singer, songwriter and actress. She performs her own compositions and works of others in a number of genres, as well as exploiting traditional and popular Mexican music. She also incorporates native Mexican influences and has recorded songs in multiple indigenous languages ​​such as Mixtec, Zapotec, Maya, Nahuatl and Purépecha.
