Adam Pascal is an American actor, singer and songwriter best known for his role as Roger Davis in the original cast of the 1996 musical Rent on Broadway by Jonathan Larson, the 2005 cinematic version of 2009 musical and Broadway Tour of Rent. He is also known for playing Radames in Elton John and Tim Rice's Aida, for playing Cabaret renaissance host in 1998, and for playing Huey Calhoun in the Broadway Company of Memphis. Most recently, he played the role of William Shakespeare in the Tony Award-winning musical Something Rotten! Pascal was born in the Bronx, New York, and raised in Woodbury, Nassau County, New York with his mother, Wendy and stepfather, Mel Seamon. He was raised by a Jew. He graduated from Lycée Syosset. He then graduated from New York Institute of Technology. Before becoming interested in music, he was a personal trainer.
